Just days ago, the March 2016 edition of the Joomla Community Magazine came out, and it has some really good articles that keep you up to date on what is going on in the world of Joomla! and it's community:
The first article, "JCM: Looking into the future" By Helvecio da Silva is a very insightful article on what changes are going on with the Joomla Community Magazine (JCM) moving forward.
the first major change that was noted was the move to the 5th of the month for each issue to come out now. Mark it in your calendar! ;D
Next, there's a redesign of the magazine that is just around the corner, and we're excited to see what it's going be!
The Next Article, "The Joomla User Experience", by Cliff Pfeifer is an insight in to Joomla and a desired better user experience through the Joomla User Experience team. Essentially, the JUX looks to improve Joomla usability in all areas through working together in a culmination of divers talents from an international, global community.
The JUX Team is asking you to be involved.
Getting involved isn't hard, and the team is looking for contributors in the areas of expertise that best suit your talents and passion. The JUX team is putting a call out for end users, designers, developers and enthusiasts to get involved and help make the user experience better for all.
For more information on getting involved, please read the article in the Joomla Community Magazine
While you're at it, read the article "10 Minutes to Protect Against Disaster" by John Hooley. The article lists a bunch of sound advice on increasing your site security and integrity. It's funny how overlooked these five items are.
